Location: Washington, DC / Nations Capital Region. U.S. Citizenship required (NO EXCEPTIONS). Hybrid schedule with periodic onsite meetings at federal facilities.

What you will do

• Lead technical teams securing cloud, on-premise, and operational technology (OT) environments.
• Oversee security controls including firewalls, DLP, encryption, and endpoint protection.
• Manage ATO documentation and processes (SSP, Risk Assessments, POA&Ms) for federal environments.
• Drive vulnerability management, scan analysis, and remediation planning.
• Coordinate with federal stakeholders, architects, and engineers to resolve complex security issues.
• Support OT/IT convergence security and industrial control systems (SCADA).

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in IT/Cybersecurity, with at least 4 years specifically in cloud security.
• U.S. Citizenship is strictly required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain federal suitability or Public Trust clearance.
• Deep knowledge of RMF, NIST 800-53, FISMA, and FedRAMP.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Certifications: GICSP, CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, Security+, or AWS/Azure security specialties.
• Experience supporting DHS, TSA, or other national security missions.
• Expertise in SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, and zero trust initiatives.
• Experience in Agile, DevSecOps, or SAFe federal delivery environments.
