What you will do

  • Respond quickly to technical issues affecting in-house trading applications.
  • Optimize infrastructure for business needs.
  • Maintain and configure trading infrastructure using project- and change-management tools.
  • Analyze and enhance exchange connectivity.
  • Investigate latency issues and bottlenecks, collaborating with stakeholders to resolve them and improve system efficiency.
  • Monitor and document trading applications and IT infrastructure.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in a Trading Operations, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering role within a proprietary trading or high-frequency trading (HFT) environment.
  • Deep expertise in Unix/Linux systems, with proven ability to manage complex, latency-sensitive production environments.
  • Strong programming and scripting skills in Python, with additional experience in languages such as Go, Bash, or C++.
  • Practical understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, multicast, routing, and DNS, with experience performing network packet analysis and investigations to diagnose and resolve low-latency system issues.
  • Experience managing and supporting distributed systems and real-time infrastructure using Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker in production environments.
  • Solid experience with cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including automation, infrastructure orchestration, and observability tools.
