What you will do
- Operate and supervise vehicle safety during real-time AI demos, ensuring full compliance.
- Act as the primary on-site point of contact for external guests, partners, and internal teams.
- Prepare vehicles and equipment for demonstration runs.
- Explain system capabilities and performance clearly to stakeholders.
- Log issues, anomalies, and observations to support engineering and development teams.
- Plan and optimize demo routes based on traffic, road conditions, and audience needs.
Requirements
- Full clean Japanese driving licence with at least 8 years of driving experience, mainly in Japan.
- Fluency in both English and Japanese.
- Proven experience as a demo operator or in a similar role.
- No blameworthy insurance claims in the past three years.
- Ability to remain calm and controlled in high-pressure environments.
- Must be based onsite in Tokyo and Yokohama.
Nice to have
- Experience in vehicle testing, AV environments, or technical demonstrations.
- Knowledge of autonomous systems or AV technology.
- Customer-facing or hospitality experience.
- T1 and T2 Bertha certification.
