What you will do
- Lead cross-functional teams including engineering, product validation, quality, and procurement to deliver high-quality hardware projects.
- Own the Bill of Materials (BOM), related ED&D, CAPEX, and resource allocations to ensure business EBIT targets.
- Define project requirements, set priorities, and establish scope within a matrix organization.
- Collaborate with sourcing teams to define strategic suppliers and ensure parts delivery meets profitability and timing.
- Manage project escalations, dependencies, and risks through maturity gate reviews and communication plans.
- Drive technical analysis, design, testing, and implementation from project start-up to close-out.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 12+ years of experience leading automotive projects.
- Previous experience leading project or engineering teams.
- Experience in electro-mechanical system development with a focus on thermal requirements.
- Proficiency in PLM methodologies and project management processes.
- Must have a clean driving record for the use of company/customer vehicles.
Nice to have
- Master's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
- Experience developing Infotainment and ADAS platforms.
- Knowledge of Hardware, RF, and Thermal simulations in automotive applications.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
