What you will do

• Master and apply the brand’s tone of voice for the Japanese market across all communication touchpoints.
• Develop original and transcreated copy for social media (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube), SEM, and display ads.
• Collaborate with the Localization Manager, Creative, and Marketing teams to align on strategic direction.
• Handle product naming and present creative concepts during live alignment calls.
• Guide VO talent during recording sessions and support the mixing process for final outputs.

Requirements

• Native-level Japanese and Excellent English (C1) written and spoken.
• 5+ years of professional copywriting experience with a mandatory agency background.
• Strong portfolio showcasing high-impact brand work and conceptual copywriting.
• Proven ability to interpret creative briefs and develop strategies grounded in audience research.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be based in Japan.
