TL;DR

Frontend Engineer (React/TypeScript): Designing and implementing user interfaces for a market-leading digital checkout solution with an accent on performance, reliability, and conversion optimization. Focus on developing embeddable Web Components, scaling a shared UI library, and ensuring a seamless cross-border payment experience.

Location: Stockholm, Sweden (In-person collaboration prioritized)

What you will do

  • Ship features across checkout products, including the full checkout experience and embeddable elements library.
  • Contribute to the Morpheus UI library and the shared design language.
  • Evolve embeddable elements built on Web Components for integration into diverse merchant storefronts.
  • Own the performance, reliability, and observability of code in business-critical paths.
  • Champion best practices in testing, accessibility, and security across the team.
  • Mentor other engineers, review code, and contribute to the technical frontend direction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Deep expertise in modern JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Strong experience with latest React versions and modern patterns.
  • Solid foundations in HTML, CSS, and responsive, accessible UI.
  • Experience across the frontend testing spectrum (unit, integration, end-to-end).
  • Must be based in or able to work from Stockholm, Sweden.

Nice to have

  • Experience building Web Components or embeddable widgets.
  • Familiarity with iframe and cross-origin integration patterns.
  • Experience with localization and products working across many markets.
  • Background in payments or e-commerce.
  • Experience with A/B testing and Core Web Vitals optimization.
