iOS Engineer

Location: Hybrid role based in London, requiring office attendance at least 60% of the time.

What you will do

• Deliver new iOS functionality and features using modern engineering practices.
• Build and maintain scalable mobile experiences for booking and managing journeys.
• Continuously improve the iOS codebase by simplifying and modernising systems.
• Take ownership of the development lifecycle from code to production, including monitoring and support.
• Identify and resolve technical blockers and inefficiencies within the squad.
• Coach and mentor team members to foster an inclusive and high-performing environment.

Requirements

• Experience building iOS applications using Swift.
• Familiarity with SwiftUI and UIKit.
• Experience with Objective-C in existing codebases.
• Strong approach to engineering quality, testing, and maintainability.
• Experience working in cross-functional product teams.
• Ability to contribute to technical decisions and explain trade-offs.

Nice to have

• Experience with SPM, Tuist, AWS, New Relic, ELK, Docker, Terraform, or GitHub Actions.
