What you will do

• Own end-to-end production data science projects from broad problem statements to credible analytical results.
• Design and validate novel behavioral heuristics and algorithms for EVM and other blockchain data to attribute on-chain activity.
• Apply graph computation, statistical modeling, and machine learning to large-scale on-chain datasets.
• Optimize code and workflows to ensure clean integration into the production data and tooling stack.
• Communicate and defend complex methodologies and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to technical hiring processes.

Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science, ML, Statistics, Physics, Math, or equivalent industry experience.
• Expert proficiency in Python and SQL with a track record of writing production-quality code.
• Experience applying graph algorithms, ML, and statistical inference to large, messy datasets.
• Comfort working with EVM-based blockchain data or the aptitude to learn EVM structures quickly.
• Proven ability to take project ownership, decompose requirements, and drive them to completion.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for explaining complex methodology.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Databricks, DBT, Spark, or PySpark.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) or contributing to production data pipelines.
• Previous experience mentoring junior data scientists or engineers.
• Passion for the cryptocurrency and blockchain space.
