What you will do

• Spend approximately 70% of time coding, owning backend and AI logic for agents.
• Set technical direction, define LLM guardrails, and ensure scalable architecture.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of 5 engineers.
• Bridge the gap between the AI Lab and the broader organization to ensure seamless product integration.
• Demonstrate high-velocity, reliable development practices to the squad.

Requirements

• Must be based in France, Germany, Italy, or Spain for full remote work.
• Strong production experience in Python.
• Proven track record in a technical leadership or senior engineering role.
• Experience with or genuine curiosity for AI-native workflows and experimentation.
• Ability to coach junior engineers and provide constructive feedback.
• Strong communication skills to articulate technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with Go or Ruby for service integrations.
• Familiarity with AI frameworks like PydanticAI, LangGraph, or LangChain.
