What you will do

• Design and optimize electrochemical recycling processes (electrodialysis and flow capacitive deionization) to recover lithium and metals from LFP leachates.
• Develop and test new materials and cell configurations to improve extraction efficiency and energy performance.
• Enhance laboratory-scale setups to gather data on process stability and energy consumption.
• Conduct techno-economic analyses to identify pathways for industrial implementation.
• Collaborate with industrial partners and academic colleagues to translate research into practical strategies.
• Contribute to scientific publications and knowledge dissemination.

Requirements

• PhD degree in applied physics, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a similar field.
• Profound knowledge of chemical engineering fundamentals and electrochemistry.
• Demonstrated expertise in the recycling of critical raw materials.
• Effective communication skills in English.
