🚀 Timspark is looking for an experienced Middle Java Developer to join our team.
The role requires strong hands-on development skills, system design understanding, and the ability to work independently. The project Go-Live is scheduled within one month, so immediate impact is critical
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable Java applications
Take ownership of modules and deliver end-to-end features independently
Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices
Ensure high performance, security, and scalability of applications
Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business goals
Leverage AI tools to improve development productivity
Responsibilities
AI & Productivity Skills (Mandatory)
Experience with Prompt Engineering, including:
Writing clear, structured, context-rich prompts
Breaking complex problems into smaller prompts (prompt chaining)
Iterative refinement through follow-up prompts
Effective context management (what to include/exclude)
Understanding of LLM capabilities and limitations
Experience using Cursor AI or similar AI-assisted development tools
Ability to use AI tools to enhance development productivity
Required Qualifications
Professional experience in Java development
Strong expertise in Java 17+
Hands-on experience with Spring Framework: Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security
Strong experience in Microservices Architecture
Solid understanding of REST API design and API Gateway concepts
Strong working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
Experience with distributed messaging systems: Kafka, RabbitMQ
Good understanding of distributed systems fundamentals: CAP theorem, Eventual consistency, Idempotency
Basic system design and architecture understanding
Hands-on experience with Docker
Basic working knowledge of Kubernetes
Strong working knowledge of core AWS services
Familiarity with deployment pipelines and monitoring
Regularly perform security reviews and performance monitoring
Ability to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks
Exposure to scalable system design
Prior experience in fast-paced or startup environments
Mentoring junior developers
