What you will do

• Lead and review complex tax engagements including 1120S, 1065, 1040, and multi-entity returns.
• Provide strategic tax advisory on planning, entity structuring, and cash flow strategies for veterinary practice owners.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through proactive communication and consultative service.
• Mentor and coach junior staff and managers to elevate technical capabilities and service standards.
• Collaborate with firm leadership on operational improvements and strategic organizational growth.
• Stay current on evolving tax regulations and industry trends relevant to the veterinary sector.

Requirements

• Active CPA license required.
• 7+ years of progressive public accounting tax experience.
• Strong experience reviewing and managing complex tax engagements and pass-through entities.
• Proven ability to lead client relationships and deliver advisory-focused tax guidance.
• Comfortable operating independently in a fully remote, high-autonomy environment.
• Must be based in the United States.

• Experience with CCH Axcess.
• Heavy pass-through entity experience.
