What you will do

• Supervise overhead crane construction and repair activities on site to ensure alignment with project specifications and programmes.
• Review and monitor Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) to identify and mitigate hazards.
• Manage the safety and HSE performance of personnel and contractors, with the authority to stop works if standards are compromised.
• Coordinate contractors for overhead crane repair and maintenance, ensuring work fronts are properly resourced.
• Support project delivery through progress reporting, technical coordination, and defect resolution.
• Close out punch lists and provide feedback for continuous improvement of future projects.

Requirements

• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification, Technical Diploma, or equivalent technical apprenticeship.
• Minimum 3 years of experience supervising construction or repair in large industrial plants (e.g., Energy from Waste, power generation, or petrochemical).
• Proven experience coordinating subcontractors on live industrial construction sites.
• Deep understanding of HSEQ management, permit systems, and RAMS review processes.
• Valid SSSTS certification is essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong stakeholder management skills.
