TL;DR

Senior Fullstack Engineer (Fintech): Building and scaling complex payment systems for a global travel platform with an accent on ledger architecture, FX, and multi-currency processing. What you will do

  • Lead end-to-end payments projects, from discovery and design to rollout and monitoring.
  • Architect and maintain resilient distributed systems, including ledgers, reconciliation pipelines, and state machines.
  • Partner with Product and PayOps teams to build solutions for complex financial challenges.
  • Develop and maintain payment interfaces using React and TypeScript.
  • Ensure system reliability and lead incident response for mission-critical payment flows.
  • Contribute to engineering excellence and mentor team members on AI-driven development practices.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of product engineering experience, with 4+ years focused on complex payments systems.
  • Proven track record in a PSP, acquirer, gateway, or high-scale platform payments team.
  • Deep expertise in settlement, reconciliation, dispute management, 3DS2, and PCI compliance.
  • Strong backend mastery in Ruby on Rails, Kotlin, Python, Go, Java, or Node.js.
  • Full-stack proficiency with React for building payment interfaces.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), containerization, and CI/CD.

Nice to have

  • Direct experience with card issuing programs (BIN sponsorship, processor integrations).
  • Experience launching new PSP integrations end-to-end.
  • Background in marketplace or two-sided platform payments.
