ML Engineer / Data Scientist (RecSys, Search)

Location: Relocation to Cyprus is offered, including visa support, relocation coverage, travel tickets, and first-month accommodation.

Salary: From €4,000 net per month; final compensation depends on experience, skills, and role fit.

What you will do

• Develop and improve user-item, item-item, and cross-platform recommendation systems.
• Optimize recommendations for category, channel, and tag pages.
• Build text-to-video search using embedding models, ranking, and semantic search.
• Turn ML prototypes into production services through inference optimization, profiling, feature preparation, and model quality control.
• Develop high-load ML services in Python, including gRPC- and Triton-based services.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with recommendation systems, search, or related machine learning tasks.
• Strong Python skills and experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch and CatBoost.
• Experience deploying machine learning models to production.
• Understanding of offline and online model evaluation principles.
• Experience with relevant tools and infrastructure, including Kubernetes, Docker, Airflow, Triton Inference Server, ClickHouse, or MySQL.
