Junior Software Engineer (Java/TypeScript)

What you will do

• Build high-value features for a new Affiliate Marketing platform within the Growth Domain.
• Develop cloud software using AWS, TypeScript, and Java.
• Implement RESTful APIs within a microservices architecture.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and write unit tests to ensure software quality.
• Monitor application performance using Cloudwatch and Datadog.
• Collaborate with the team to establish best practices, culture, and ways of working.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of commercial Software Engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Java, TypeScript, and AWS services.
• Experience with Docker and Git for source control.
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles and RESTful API design.
• Familiarity with Agile processes such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Experience with frontend development, ideally using Angular.

Nice to have

• Experience with PHP, including building and maintaining web applications.
• Knowledge of information security and designing solutions to mitigate security threats.
• Practical experience with TDD and Pair Programming.
