Engineering Systems IT Analyst (Automotive): Supporting and developing global engineering systems including MCAD, ECAD, and PLM environments with an accent on Siemens Teamcenter, NX, and CATIA integration. Focus on bridging the gap between engineering stakeholders and IT, driving system standardization, and optimizing software ecosystems for automotive product lifecycles.
Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Kraków, Poland (Hybrid: 2-3 days/week in office)
Salary: 600–900 PLN/day (B2B)

What you will do
- Administer and support global MCAD (Siemens NX, SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo) and ECAD (Mentor Graphics) systems.
- Oversee the administration and continuous improvement of the Siemens Teamcenter PLM environment.
- Define and evolve CAx and PLM architecture in alignment with enterprise IT strategy.
- Act as a bridge between engineering stakeholders and IT to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Design and execute test strategies, including system integration and user acceptance testing.
- Monitor system usage, manage software inventory, and support license renewals.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in CAD/PLM systems or technical IT leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of MCAD tools (Siemens NX, SolidWorks, CATIA V5, PTC Creo) and ECAD systems.
- Hands-on experience with PLM platforms, particularly Siemens Teamcenter.
- Understanding of IT processes and frameworks such as ITIL.
- Very good command of English (written and spoken).
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 8 weeks per year.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with ASPICE software development processes.
- Experience in financial awareness, including budgeting and license management.
