Software-Defined Network Engineer (NSX-T)

Software-Defined Network Engineer (NSX-T): Managing and configuring software-defined networks using VMware NSX and Cisco ACI for core organizational systems with an accent on network security, firewall configuration, and API-driven automation. Focus on developing automation scripts for infrastructure integration and resolving complex operational challenges in data centers.

Location: Hybrid (Prague, Brno, or Pardubice). Must be based in the Czech Republic (2 days per week in the office).

What you will do

• Manage and configure software-defined networks using VMware NSX and Cisco ACI in data centers.
• Configure NSX-T firewalls to ensure network security and operational efficiency.
• Automate SDN network configurations using native API interfaces.
• Create and maintain automation scripts integrated with firewalls, load balancers, Cisco ISE, IPAM, and ServiceNow.
• Analyze and resolve complex operational problems within the network infrastructure.
• Mentor less experienced colleagues and contribute to the creation of security standards.

Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP protocol and layer architecture.
• Experience with SDN networks used in data centers and VMware technologies, including containerization.
• Proficiency in programming or scripting for infrastructure automation.
• Czech language proficiency (required).
• English proficiency at B2 level.
• Valid category B driver's license.
