What you will do

• Design and build scalable web applications and backend services for Trust & Safety operations and player protection.
• Develop frontend experiences using React/TypeScript and backend services in Node.js, Python, or Go.
• Build internal moderation tools, policy enforcement systems, and telemetry dashboards.
• Design APIs for integration with multiplayer and live-service gaming ecosystems.
• Contribute to cloud-native infrastructure on Kubernetes/GCP/AWS and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, data engineers, and game studios.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 1-3 years of software engineering experience through internships, academic projects, or professional work.
• Proficiency with React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience developing backend services or APIs using Node.js, Python, Java, or Go.
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Must be based in or able to work from San Diego or San Mateo

Nice to have

• Experience with gaming platforms or live-service systems.
• Interest in Trust & Safety, abuse prevention, or player safety technologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and Git-based development.
• Interest in automation and AI-assisted workflows.
