TL;DR

Senior Fullstack Engineer (Web3/TypeScript): Building and owning the technical backbone of the Checkout product with an accent on provider integrations and routing intelligence. Focus on designing robust backend contracts, managing complex async flows, and ensuring seamless integration between UI states and backend services.

Location: Remote (EMEA). Must be based in the EMEA region.

What you will do

• Own backend capabilities for funding flows, including provider integrations, quotes, sessions, and recovery.
• Design and build integration patterns for external onramp, exchange, and payment providers.
• Define and maintain backend contracts between Checkout UI, provider systems, and execution infrastructure.
• Drive cross-functional technical discovery with Core backend and Partner Portal teams to ensure architectural alignment.
• Implement frontend work in React to align UI states with backend contracts.

Requirements

• Expert proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js with strong backend engineering experience.
• Ability to build across API contracts and UI states using React and TypeScript.
• Proven experience integrating external APIs, handling async flows, failures, and observability.
• Working-level Web3 knowledge (transactions, block explorers, bridges, and DEX aggregators).
• Strong product judgment and the ability to navigate complex codebases independently.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating onramp, exchange, or payment providers.
• Familiarity with fintech or exchange systems (webhooks, reconciliation, KYC, recovery tooling).
• Genuine enthusiasm for the Web3 ecosystem.
