Senior C# Developer (Fintech)

TL;DR

Senior C# Developer (Fullstack): Developing applications for financial services with an accent on distributed data processing and event-driven architectures. Focus on building scalable backend services using C# and Kafka while integrating them with Angular frontends.

Location: Hybrid (2 times a week in the Lisbon office). Requires Portuguese or other EU citizenship, or a valid Portuguese work permit.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain high-performance backend systems using C# and C++.
• Design and implement relational database schemas and complex SQL queries.
• Build and optimize frontend applications using Angular.
• Implement event-driven architectures utilizing Apache Kafka.
• Work with Hadoop for distributed data processing environments.
• Manage software delivery workflows through Git and Jenkins pipelines.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of professional experience with C# and/or C++ development.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts.
• Solid knowledge of Angular for frontend development.
• Experience with Kafka and Hadoop distributed systems.
• Proficiency in REST API design and working across Linux and Windows environments.
• English: B2 level required.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in French.
• Previous experience in financial services, specifically in back-office or front-office domains.
