What you will do

• Craft unique character abilities that provide tactical choices and cooperative opportunities.
• Collaborate with animators and gameplay programmers to develop abilities from concept to release.
• Iterate on and refine combat design using player metrics, feedback, and analytics.
• Integrate animations, input timing, visual and sound effects into a cohesive player experience.
• Develop hands-on prototypes to test combat mechanics and feel.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Combat Designer, specifically with melee systems.
• Contribution to at least one shipped AAA title focusing on player combat mechanics and abilities.
• Proficiency with visual scripting languages such as Blueprints or Node Graphs.
• Experience with animation systems and knowledge of state replication challenges.
• Deep understanding of third-person combat mechanics and multiplayer constraints.
• Must be based in or able to relocate to Amsterdam, Netherlands.
