What you will do

• Develop and experimentally validate high-tech optical ground station technologies required for laser satellite communication.
• Integrate and test opto-mechatronic and opto-electronic systems in a laboratory setting.
• Perform measurement and active control of individual laser beams to ensure synchronized transmission.
• Collaborate with academic and industrial partners, including TU Eindhoven and Airbus Netherlands.
• Contribute to the STARS project focused on turbulence-resilient optical communication systems.

Requirements

• MSc degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Optical Engineering, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience with experimental research and strong analytical skills.
• English proficiency: minimum B2 required (C1/C2 preferred).
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary research environment.
• Must be willing to undergo a security screening and obtain an exemption from the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science.
