Customer Engineer (Climate Tech)

What you will do

• Design and implement technical solutions using the hirify.global API based on customer engineering and business needs.
• Advise customers on technical product architecture and best practices for API usage.
• Debug customer implementations and proactively apply fixes or improvements directly to the hirify.global codebase.
• Act as an internal advocate for customers to influence the product roadmap and feature allocation.
• Drive internal projects such as the developer portal experience and integration guides.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in customer engineering, solutions engineering, or user-oriented software engineering.
• Ability to manage technical client relationships while being capable of diving into the codebase for fixes.
• Experience deploying complex software for critical infrastructure, mapping APIs to ERP and CRM stacks.
• Experience working with large enterprise IT departments and navigating their governance mechanisms.
• Strong communication skills to explain complex technical issues to varied audiences.
• Must be based in Europe and willing to travel to customer locations on a regular basis.

Nice to have

• Experience in a technical role within third-party API companies.
• Pre-sales experience, specifically supporting RfP processes for enterprise customers.
