What you will do

• Propose and lead technical improvements to enhance system performance and team efficiency.
• Design, develop, and maintain backend components and high-load distributed systems.
• Collaborate with product, business, and program management to ensure timely deliverables.
• Advocate for engineering best practices, including code reviews, static analysis, and semantic versioning.
• Partner with SRE and DevOps teams to manage scalable and reliable infrastructure.
• Lead projects from inception to successful outcome and participate in on-call rotations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience, specifically within the lending domain.
• Proficiency in Golang and strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, OS).
• Experience building robust backend systems using DBMS, caches, and NoSQL.
• Proven track record of developing scalable consumer-facing products and OLTP systems.
• Experience deploying code in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments.
• Must be based in or be able to work onsite in Singapore
