Embedded Software Engineer (Audio)

What you will do

• Customize Windows and Linux device drivers and tools for customer platforms.
• Integrate and develop Audio Processing Object (APO) and DSP offload solutions.
• Triage, reproduce, and debug complex customer-reported software issues.
• Review customer schematics from a software and driver perspective.
• Collaborate with US and UK development teams to implement new PC user experience technologies.
• Set up reference platforms and new devices.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience deploying audio device drivers on Intel, AMD, or ARM platforms.
• Expertise in kernel software development, ACPI, and Windows/Linux driver integration.
• Deep understanding of OS architectural challenges such as race conditions, deadlocks, and interrupts.
• Proficiency with serial protocols including I2C, SPI, I2S, HDA, and SoundWire.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

• Experience with PC architectures and chipsets.
