What you will do

• Lead the architectural design and development of global fiat payment rails, including ACH, RTP, FedNow, and SEPA.
• Architect, implement, and scale seamless API integrations with top-tier banking partners.
• Build treasury management software for programmatic liquidity management and automated balance transfers.
• Develop internal operational tooling to support reconciliation, automated alerts, and compliance reporting.
• Design and develop microservices utilizing Golang within an event-driven environment.
• Collaborate with platform engineers to scale infrastructure and ensure high availability of payment gateways.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience in Payments, FinTech, or Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) infrastructure.
• Deep production proficiency with Golang.
• Extensive understanding of fiat networks and clearing systems (ACH, RTP, FedNow, SEPA, Swift).
• Strong expertise in SQL and complex database schema design for ACID-compliant financial ledgers.
• Hands-on experience integrating and maintaining resilient connections with bank APIs.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Experience with digital assets and crypto infrastructure.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and messaging frameworks such as Kafka, ZeroMQ, or NATS.
• Proven track record of building treasury management or automated ledgering systems from scratch.
