What you will do

  • Lead the embedded analytics approach for the PlayStation Store, acting as a trusted advisor to product, commercial, and lifecycle teams.
  • Drive strategic analyses of the digital commerce funnel, including discovery, conversion, basket composition, and checkout.
  • Partner with experimentation teams to define success metrics and evaluate A/B tests and quasi-experimental approaches.
  • Analyze player purchasing behavior across games, subscriptions, and in-store events to inform monetization and bundling strategies.
  • Build, mentor, and develop a team of high-performing embedded analysts, ensuring analytical rigor and business impact.
  • Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to translate advanced modeling outputs into actionable business decisions.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in analytics with significant leadership experience in business-facing or embedded analytics teams.
  • Proven background in digital commerce, gaming, or subscription-based marketplace platforms.
  • Deep expertise in D2C metrics including LTV, AOV, attach rate, and conversion funnels.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL for analyzing large-scale event and transaction datasets.
  • Experience with analytical languages such as Python or R for deep-dive analysis.
  • Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders and shape product roadmaps using data-driven insights.
