TL;DR

Senior Full Stack Engineer (Java/React): Developing backend services in Java and frontend interfaces using React JS with an accent on scalable web applications and automation testing. Focus on building distributed microservices, improving GUI performance, and implementing comprehensive test coverage using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.

Location: Must be based in Romania (Remote or hybrid in Bucharest)

What you will do

  • Build, maintain, and improve frontend using React JS and backend systems using Java-based services via Agile methods.
  • Develop scalable web applications utilizing ES6, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Design and maintain next-generation web-based GUIs within a distributed microservices environment.
  • Optimize system performance and quality to deliver high-impact solutions for customers.
  • Maintain high code quality by writing unit, integration, and automation tests using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with React JS, Java (Spring Boot, Microservices), HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL, NoSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Proficiency in SDET tasks, including automation testing with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
  • 4+ years of experience with Nest JS and modern CSS/CSS-in-JS development.
  • Must be based in Romania.

Nice to have

  • Node JS (specifically Nest JS framework).
  • Experience in the development of mobile applications.
  • Relevant academic background.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
