What you will do

• Lead the full project lifecycle for the film initiative from strategic design to execution.
• Build the Scouting, Creation & Distribution direction from the ground up, including operating models and pipelines.
• Provide strategic and curatorial guidance for the Alternativa Film Festival to strengthen global positioning.
• Develop and execute a distribution strategy at scale, building partnerships with global platforms, distributors, and festivals.
• Represent the initiative externally as the principal voice in the film industry.
• Design behavioral change programs that leverage film and storytelling to shift cultural norms.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of senior leadership experience in the global film industry (distribution, sales, festivals, or streaming).
• Proven track record in international distribution and reaching broad, diverse audiences.
• Deep global network of senior industry contacts including buyers, sales agents, and festival programmers.
• Experience managing senior leaders and building new functions from scratch.
• Strong business background with an equity-driven mindset.
