TL;DR

Senior Solution Architect (Fintech): Defining and evolving architecture for mobile and online banking platforms with an accent on payments, cards, and cloud-native integration. Focus on designing scalable, secure, and robust systems using event-driven architecture, BIAN principles, and AI-supported engineering processes.

Location: Must be based in or able to work from Trondheim, Oslo, or Bergen (Hybrid)

What you will do

  • Evolve solution architecture for modern banking platforms including mobile and online banking.
  • Contribute to technology direction and standardization across the Payments & Cards section.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects, tech leads, and development teams to ensure scalable and secure solutions.
  • Work with APIs, integrations, cloud platforms, and event-driven architecture.
  • Apply domain-driven design and BIAN principles to banking services.
  • Explore AI and automation to improve customer experiences and engineering workflows.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Experience as a Senior Solution Architect, Enterprise Architect, Tech Lead, or Senior Developer.
  • Experience with payments, cards, or banking/finance domains.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms, APIs, and microservices.
  • Knowledge of event-driven architecture and security/regulatory requirements.
  • Must be able to work in a hybrid model with physical presence in Norway as needed.

Nice to have

  • Proficiency in Norwegian.
  • Experience with BIAN or domain-driven design.
  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools.
