Salary: €3,059–€3,881 gross per month

What you will do
- Define a specific problem statement and research questions within the theme of just and inclusive urban mobility.
- Conduct mixed-methods and participatory research, including fieldwork and stakeholder engagement.
- Develop practical strategies for planners, designers, and policymakers to support mobility transitions.
- Contribute to academic debates on spatial accessibility and mobility justice.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team within the Urban Studies section.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in spatial planning, urban planning, urban studies, transport studies, human geography, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in spoken and written Dutch (CEFR B2 level or higher) for participatory research.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English (TOEFL/IELTS required where applicable).
- Experience with or interest in mixed-methods, participatory research, and community engagement.
- Ability to work independently, proactively, and creatively.
- Availability to start during 2026.
