What you will do

• Develop and maintain complex code for internal and external client software solutions using various front and backend technologies.
• Design and deliver program specifications while ensuring alignment with database and application architecture.
• Perform unit testing, validation, and corrective measures to ensure high-quality code delivery.
• Participate in client-facing meetings and vendor partnership discussions to define solution approaches.
• Enforce business and infrastructure application standards, including PCI security compliance.
• Provide technical guidance and on-the-job training to other software engineers.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in coding, designing, and developing data-driven applications.
• Advanced knowledge of at least one front or backend language and moderate understanding of the other.
• Experience working with various APIs, external services, and both relational and NoSQL databases.
• Ability to work on problems of diverse scope requiring independent judgment and analysis.

Nice to have

• 6+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Experience with IBM Rational Tools.
• Familiarity with mainframe technologies like COBOL or Assembler.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or DMTK.
