TL;DR
Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack): Building and deploying features for legal-technology products with an accent on the full software development lifecycle and code quality. Focus on designing efficient, production-ready code and mentoring engineers to scale infrastructure globally.
Location: Hybrid schedule with an office in Ayala, Makati, Philippines

What you will do
- Build and deploy exciting features alongside engineers, designers, and product managers.
- Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle to drive product forward.
- Uphold and refine standards for code quality, design, performance, and security across the team.
- Write well-thought, efficient, and production-ready code.
- Lead solution design meetings, conduct hiring interviews, and perform code reviews.
- Propose and implement new approaches to future-proof and scale global infrastructure.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional experience in software development.
- Mastery of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with relational databases (SQL, ORM, DAO) and efficient data design.
- Proficiency with Git.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to mentor team members and quickly learn new programming languages.
Nice to have
- Experience with Elixir, Phoenix, PostgreSQL, or Ruby on Rails.
- Knowledge of React.
- Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and distributed microservices.
- Background in regulated environments or the legal services industry.
- Experience in a startup environment or working with remote teams.
- Knowledge of UNIX systems.
