Senior Java Full Stack Engineer (SaaS): Building a new SaaS product from the ground up with Java-based backend systems and modern React front-end interfaces, with an accent on scalable REST APIs, Java concurrency, and secure authentication/authorization. Focus on delivering high-performance, production-grade services while collaborating across Singapore, Europe, and North America in an agile environment.
Location: Cebu, Philippines (Hybrid — onsite Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday in Cebu City)

What you will do
- Design and build robust, scalable Java backend systems using Spring Framework with clean RESTful APIs.
- Implement Java concurrency, multithreading, and asynchronous API patterns for high-performance services.
- Build secure features using JWT, OAuth, and web security best practices.
- Develop responsive front-end interfaces using React and Redux based on designs and wireframes.
- Optimize UI components for performance across devices and browsers.
- Review code, uphold code quality, and participate in agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives).
Requirements
- 7+ years of full stack experience with Java as the primary and most recent language (writing Java day-to-day or very recently).
- Hands-on experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security).
- Non-negotiable understanding of Java concurrency, multithreading, and async patterns.
- Experience building and consuming Java-based RESTful web services.
- Significant front-end experience with ReactJS and Redux; AngularJS or VueJS is a plus.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
