What you will do

• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to build and deploy new features and products.
• Write well-thought, efficient, and production-ready code across the full software development lifecycle.
• Uphold and refine standards for code quality, design, performance, and security across the engineering team.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers through code reviews and hiring interviews.
• Propose and implement new architectural solutions to future-proof infrastructure for global scaling.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with relational databases and efficient data design.
• Strong command of version control systems (Git).
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must be able to work a hybrid schedule in Makati, Philippines (Shift: 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM)

Nice to have

• Experience with Elixir, Phoenix, Phoenix LiveView, and PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of Ruby on Rails or React.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and UNIX systems.
• Background in building distributed microservices hosted in the cloud.
• Previous experience in a startup environment or the legal services industry.
