Senior Firmware Engineer (Embedded)

Senior Firmware Engineer (Embedded/C++): Designing and implementing robust firmware features for future devices with an accent on modular software components and high performance. Focus on architectural vision implementation, test automation, and resolving complex system-level issues.

Location: Hybrid (Krakow, Poland). Must be on site in the Krakow office at least 3 days a week

What you will do

• Take ownership of complex firmware features from concept to production.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and design modular software components that align with the platform vision.
• Write efficient, maintainable code and drive test automation.
• Investigate and resolve difficult system-level issues to ensure product reliability.
• Mentor junior developers through code reviews and technical advice.
• Prototype new ideas to enhance product functionality and developer efficiency.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in embedded software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in C and C++ for embedded systems.
• Solid understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and hardware/software constraints.
• Experience with Zephyr RTOS and the Twister test framework.
• Experience with ARM Cortex-M or RISC-V architectures.
• Fluent spoken and written English.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Agile methodology.
