Financial Analyst

Financial Analyst (Finance): Managing collections operations and account reconciliations to optimize cash flow and reduce overdue exposure with an accent on payment trend analysis and operational reporting. Focus on resolving billing disputes, automating collection processes, and ensuring accurate financial reporting during month-end cycles.

Location: Hybrid in San Jose, Costa Rica. Must have unrestricted permanent right to work in Costa Rica.

What you will do

• Monitor customer accounts, aging balances, and payment activity to drive timely collections.
• Perform account reconciliations and analyze payment trends to support cash flow objectives.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and customers to resolve billing, payment, and dispute issues.
• Track expected payments and collection risks for short-term cash flow forecasting.
• Prepare operational reports, trackers, and portfolio summaries regarding account health.
• Support month-end and quarter-end activities to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 0-1+ years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal.
• Unrestricted permanent right to work in Costa Rica.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of data visualization tools like Power BI or process automation tools like UiPath.
• Experience in legal, auditing, or contract management.
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
