What you will do

• Conduct vulnerability assessments and monitor systems, networks, and databases for potential breaches.
• Develop and implement incident response plans to contain and resolve security events.
• Maintain and configure security tools including firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection systems.
• Manage user access, permissions, and audit accounts to ensure adherence to security policies.
• Collaborate with IT departments to enforce security measures and create security documentation.
• Educate users on security requirements and stay current with emerging threats.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT, security operations, or systems administration.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship (no H-1B or STEM OPT support).
• Hands-on experience with security concepts like access control and vulnerability management.
• Working knowledge of cloud environments and modern endpoint platforms.
• Strong communication skills for documenting issues and interacting with technical and non-technical audiences.
