What you will do

• Own feature ingestion and storage infrastructure supporting core business logic and ML models.
• Design and evolve real-time feature pipelines for online and offline stores.
• Optimize system performance, resource utilization, and caching strategies.
• Build abstractions, APIs, and developer tools to simplify near-real-time feature development.
• Collaborate with ML scientists to improve model training fidelity and latency.
• Scale AI infrastructure to support diverse business surfaces like fraud, recommendations, and seller tooling.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in machine learning systems and algorithms.
• 3+ years of software engineering experience in production systems at consumer scale.
• 1+ year of professional experience developing software in Python.
• Experience with operational, search, and key-value databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (AWS Sagemaker, Lambda, Kinesis, Kafka, Flink).
• Must live within commuting distance of New York, Seattle, Los Angeles, or San Francisco.

Nice to have

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like DataDog or Grafana.
• Strong background in distributed systems and high-throughput data processing.
