TL;DR

Location: Fully Remote (Poland). Some overlap with US working hours (typically until around 18:00–19:00 CET) is expected.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and platform components.
• Contribute to architecture, reliability, scalability, and technical design decisions.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver balanced technical solutions.
• Improve system performance, observability, and operational stability.
• Own delivery quality across the full SDLC, including testing, deployments, and production support.
• Participate in on-call rotations and troubleshoot production issues when needed.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial experience in backend software engineering with strong expertise in C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core.
• Proficiency with Dapper, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
• Strong experience building distributed systems and microservices-based applications.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Experience with containerized environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Strong understanding of messaging and asynchronous patterns such as Kafka or AWS SQS.

Nice to have

• Experience with monitoring and observability tooling (Datadog, Grafana, Sumo Logic).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines like GitHub Actions, TeamCity, or Octopus.
