What you will do

• Implement and maintain data governance principles and metadata management frameworks.
• Monitor data quality and utilize data cataloging tools to ensure information accuracy.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define and enforce data standards.
• Perform data-related scripting tasks using Python or JavaScript to support governance workflows.
• Manage version control for data documentation and scripts using Git.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues through proactive problem-solving.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data management, business analysis, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of data governance, quality management, and metadata principles.
• Proficiency with data governance tools and data quality observability platforms.
• Fluent English is required for cross-team communication.
• Experience with Python, JavaScript, and Git for scripting and documentation.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment in Porto, Portugal.
