What you will do

• Develop and maintain scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Implement and configure observability solutions using OpenTelemetry (OTEL).
• Manage application deployments and orchestration within Kubernetes clusters.
• Design and optimize event-driven systems leveraging Apache Kafka.
• Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient delivery and deployment workflows.
• Work with Azure Cloud infrastructure to support robust backend services.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in similar backend development roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java 17+.
• Proven expertise in Spring Boot microservices.
• Practical knowledge of Kubernetes and Azure Cloud.
• Experience with Apache Kafka and OpenTelemetry.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub or Azure DevOps.
• Must be based in Portugal.
