Software Engineer II - Android (Traveltech)

TL;DR

Software Engineer II - Android (Android/Kotlin): Developing and optimizing mobile features for the hirify.global experiences platform with an accent on clean architecture and scalable UI. Location: Hybrid (Krakow, Poland). Must be based within a commutable distance (generally up to 1.5 hours) of the office hub in Kraków.

What you will do

• Develop high-quality Android app features using Kotlin, Coroutines, and Jetpack Compose.
• Contribute to backend microservices to ensure end-to-end feature delivery and integration.
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to define specifications and high-quality deliverables.
• Take ownership of the full software lifecycle, including design, implementation, QA, and maintenance.
• Work within a modular layout following clean-architecture and MVVM concepts.
• Collaborate with distributed engineering groups located worldwide.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of commercial software development experience solving diverse technical problems.
• Proven experience in developing native Android applications.
• Proficiency with reactive programming in native mobile platforms.
• Must be based within a commutable distance of the Krakow office.
• High quality verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to break down complex problems into simple, maintainable solutions.
