Location: Onsite in Bordeaux, France. Relocation assistance and visa sponsorship are provided for eligible candidates.
Salary: €50,000 – €70,000

The Exploration Company is developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle designed for cargo transport and future human spaceflight.
What you will do
- Manage supplier quality requirements and perform contract execution surveillance.
- Execute inspection control activities across incoming, manufacturing, assembly, integration, and testing stages.
- Lead nonconformance detection, documentation, and Material Review Board (MRB) activities.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Review and approve MAIT procedures to ensure compliance with aerospace standards like AS9100.
- Train staff on quality best practices and coordinate calibration activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a quality assurance role within high-reliability manufacturing (aerospace, space, or defense).
- Strong knowledge of quality standards such as EN/AS9100 and ISO 9001.
- Proficiency in inspection techniques, GD&T, and nonconformance management tools (8D, 5-Whys).
- Experience with quality tools including FMEA and control plans.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with special processes like welding or Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).
- Proficiency in Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
