What you will do

• Act as the quality authority to approve or block product releases based on objective test evidence.
• Own the end-to-end process for failures, complaints, and returns, ensuring full traceability.
• Define and evolve QA procedures, including release approval records and design verification test documentation.
• Coordinate cross-discipline root cause analysis for hardware, firmware, and software failures.
• Monitor quality metrics and failure trends to provide visibility into product health.
• Act as the technical point of contact for customers regarding failures and RMAs.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Engineering (Electronics, Mechatronics, Software, or similar).
• Experience in quality assurance, validation, testing, or failure analysis in a product development environment.
• Must be legally eligible to work in South Africa.
• Proficiency in English with the ability to produce clear technical reports.
• Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams across hardware, firmware, and software lifecycles.
• Ability to travel internationally as required.

Nice to have

• Experience with TestRail or similar test management tools.
• Experience with issue-tracking systems such as Jira.
• Experience with Helix or similar RMA/complaint tracking tools.
