Location: Hybrid (Rotterdam, Netherlands). Work 40% at the office, 40% from home, and 20% flexibly.

Salary: €80,000 - €130,000 gross annual

What you will do

• Translate business goals into actionable architecture designs and future-state roadmaps.
• Collaborate with product management, engineering managers, and development teams on new initiatives.
• Oversee the full scope of energy trading, including portfolio management, asset-backed trading, and trade operations.
• Identify market opportunities to increase resilience, scalability, and business value.
• Develop and maintain a coherent future-state application architecture using ArchiMate in Ardoq.
• Align COTS, SaaS, and custom solutions while promoting standardization and data centralization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in an architecture role bridging business and IT.
• Strong knowledge of the energy market, specifically wholesale trading and administrative processes.
• Familiarity with energy trading applications such as ETRM, market data management, or virtual power plants.
• Understanding of mission-critical deployments on cloud platforms and high-availability environments.
• Proficiency in business, data, and application architecture modeling.
• Dutch language skills are preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with architecture standards and frameworks such as ArchiMate or TOGAF.
