Backend Developer (PHP)

Location: Hybrid (Vilnius, Kaunas) or Remote (Global - anywhere in the world)

Salary: €5,000 - €7,600 gross per month

What you will do

• Design, develop and maintain backend systems and APIs using PHP.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to define API requirements and ensure seamless data exchange.
• Optimize APIs for performance, scalability and security.
• Implement data storage solutions and database management.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed.
• Write clear, scalable and tested code that delivers actual business value.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with PHP.
• Confident knowledge of OOP principles and Design Patterns.
• Proficiency in unit testing and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with REST API, SQL and any ORM.
• Knowledge of message queueing technologies such as RabbitMQ, PubSub or Kafka.
• Experience with Docker and principles of microservice architecture.
