Senior PHP Engineer (Laravel)

TL;DR

Senior PHP Engineer (Laravel): Enhancement of the HTB Business platform for upskilling organizations with an accent on developing new features, RESTful APIs, and scalable backend services. Focus on architectural decisions, code reviews, and integrating with frontend using Vue.js.

Location: Fully remote across Europe or relocate/hybrid to Athens Tech Hub (Greece). Hybrid requires being within 55 km of Athens office.

What you will do

• Develop new features and tools using Laravel PHP Framework.
• Create and maintain RESTful APIs and clean, scalable PHP code.
• Contribute to architectural decisions, technical documentation, and code reviews.
• Collaborate with frontend developers (Vue.js), QA, and Product Managers.
• Maintain platform by fixing issues and staying current with technologies.

Requirements

• Europe-based for remote or willing to relocate to Greece.
• Proven OOP experience.
• Experience with MVC frameworks and RESTful APIs.
• Deep HTTP knowledge and strong relational databases skills.
• Unit testing (PHPUnit), SOLID principles, design patterns.
• Analytical mindset, independent and team player.

Nice to have

• Laravel, Symfony, Springboot experience.
• Cyber security mindset.
