What you will do

• Contribute to the architecture and development of GPU-accelerated onboard compute platforms for flight deployment.
• Design and optimize GPU-accelerated compute stacks for on-orbit AI/ML inference.
• Develop high-performance C/C++ components for mission-critical embedded systems.
• Integrate compute subsystems with spacecraft avionics, sensors, and telemetry systems.
• Lead full-stack performance optimization, including memory management and runtime tuning.
• Conduct system bring-up, hardware-in-the-loop validation, and flight-representative testing.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen (eligible for U.S. Government Secret security clearance).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• Significant experience in space, aerospace, or mission-critical embedded systems.
• Strong C/C++ expertise for performance-critical, real-time systems.
• Experience with Linux-based embedded platforms and cross-compilation.
• Experience deploying or optimizing AI/ML inference workloads in edge environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with NVIDIA GPUs and CUDA.
• Familiarity with AI/ML inference acceleration frameworks like TensorRT or ONNX Runtime.
• Exposure to radiation-aware design or flight-qualified hardware.
• Background in distributed, fault-tolerant, or autonomous systems.
